Job summary

Chevron Traffic Management is hiring Night Shift Operatives to join a skilled team delivering traffic management solutions across sites in Berkshire. The role involves operating IPV vehicles where qualified and leading crew members to ensure safe, compliant work during night hours and on weekends when required.

Qualifications include LTMO 12b/12a Traffic Management Foreman and IPV certification, plus a full UK driving licence with some points and HGV where applicable.

We are hiring Operatives, Foremen, and IPV Foremen and IPV Operatives to come and join our wonderful team!

Location: Wraysbury, TW19 6HA (Berkshire and Maidenhead)

Fantastic location, with ease of access from the motorway, close to Windsor and Maidenhead

Hours

Night shifts - must be flexible to work weekends if and when required.

Salary

Your role across our Traffic Management Team

Whether you join us as an Operative, Foreman, or IPV Foreman/Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping roads safe and projects running smoothly.

Your Responsibilities May Include
  • Installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management equipment (cones, signs, barriers, and lights)
  • Driving and operating IPV vehicles where qualified
  • Leading or supporting a crew to ensure all work is delivered safely and efficiently
  • Setting up and managing lane closures, road closures, and diversion routes
  • Carrying out site checks in line with Chapter 8 regulations
  • Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Completing traffic counts, reports, and near-miss documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
  • Supporting and mentoring trainees and new team members
  • Assisting supervisors and managers to ensure projects are delivered on time
What are we looking for?
Essential
  • Qualifications: 12b LTMO or 12a Traffic Management Foreman qualification and IPV qualification
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
  • Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago, plus an HGV licence
  • Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results)Attitude: Positive, 'can-do' mindset
  • Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail
