Job summary

EHN Canada is seeking a compassionate Support Staff member to assist clinical and administrative teams in a private mental health and addiction treatment network. The role includes direct patient support, safety checks, and daily rounds with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include facilitating activities, handling communications, and performing related duties as scheduled, including night shifts.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed training or experience is an asset.
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent diploma and ability to read/write.
• Certificate from a recognized Health Care Worker program or similar asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety by supporting staff with daily routines.
• Facilitate daily rounds and address concerns with clinical team.
• Assist with transporting patients as required and monitoring at risk individuals.
• Support patients when emotionally dysregulated.
• Perform housekeeping and clerical tasks as assigned.
• Answer phones and handle calls as instructed.
• Contribute to case coordination with the multidisciplinary team.
