General Description : Purpose of Role

Responsible for the overall management of the RSC including people management and all RSC activities. Actively contribute to a positive, productive and safe working environment.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing :

  • Responsible for creating a culture and environment within the RSC that makes it an inviting place to work
  • Communicating changes and new plans to staff
  • Coaching, mentoring and inspiring staff, as well as rewarding and recognizing their efforts
  • Conducting performance reviews and developing succession plans
  • Ensuring staff are properly trained on all programs
  • Managing disciplinary processes of direct reports
  • Ensuring staff understand their roles and are held accountable
  • Transferring best practices throughout the organization
  • Participating in the creation of the RSC budget and capital requests
  • Seeking process improvements to eliminate waste and non-value-added activities
  • Participating in daily meetings and managing communication
  • Ensuring all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and followed
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Product Safety Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with all food safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, monitoring temperature controls, ensuring proper product rotation and compliance with code dates, maintaining pest control policies, following product recall policies, and ensuring personal hygiene and sanitation standards. Must be Food Safety Certified.

What you have to offer :

Required :

  • A minimum of five years management experience

  • Working knowledge of EXE and SAP

Preferred :

  • Experience in a Retail Support Centre

  • Post Secondary Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Undergraduate degree in Management or Logistics
