Job summary

Park Place — Copper Sky Seniors Community in Spruce Grove, AB is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This union AUPE position offers CASUAL, night shifts (2300–0700) and part-time hours, reporting to Resident Care Manager.

In collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team, the LPN provides assessment, planning, and delivery of person-centred nursing care, administers medications, documents in the health record, and upholds residents’ rights and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized LPN/RPN program.
• Active registration with the respective provincial college.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan resident care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor for effects and side effects.
• Document care in the electronic health record and uphold residents' rights.
