Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a General Helper to prepare, present and serve meals and beverages, ensuring food quality and presentation. The role requires availability for overnight hours from 11pm to 7am and works on-site.

You will take orders with hospitality, handle beverages, assemble bagels, wraps and sandwiches, operate ovens and maintain cleanliness across production and dining areas, with focus on food safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining food safety standards.
• Passion for serving and making food and beverages.
• Able to learn operating equipment and carry up to 25 lbs in cold environments.
• Enjoy working with a team in a safe environment.
• Strong work ethic, punctual and responsible.
• Previous guest service experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from guests with hospitality and product knowledge.
• Prepare beverages to standard, including lids and pots.
• Prepare bagels, wraps, and sandwiches with proper builds and food safety.
• Operate ovens/egg cookers and bake muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, sausages.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and back-of-house areas daily.
• Receive and store inventory during delivery and stock FOH daily.
