Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a part-time janitor for night shifts in Surrey, serving facilities across the Metro Vancouver area. The role involves cleaning floors, washrooms, and common areas, with trash removal and restocking supplies on a daily basis.

The candidate must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and pass a Criminal Background Check. Transportation to work sites is required and prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, stairs and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Stripping and waxing, steam cleaning carpets and cleaning windows – on request only
• Wash windowsills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior; wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily; damp wipe glass surfaces and dispose waste.
• Replace liners in waste baskets; monitor for defects and report to supervisors.
