Job summary

Linamar Corporation in Ontario, Canada, is seeking a Boom Cleaner for night shift with a premium of CAD 2.20 per hour and a pay range of CAD 22.25 to CAD 26.20 per hour.

Under direct supervision, you will clean booms from residual material or welding marks per SOPs, working solo or with a team to ensure quality and efficiency.

Industrial experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with hand tools and overhead cranes are preferred; safety gear is provided.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and safe operation of hand tools and overhead cranes.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs with assistance and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Independently clean welded booms by removing welding marks following SOPs.
• Operate small hand tools, brushes, chisels, hammers as needed.
• Operate cranes to move parts safely.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Report maintenance needs and defective parts.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist team members and take on additional duties as directed by lead hand or supervisor
