Job summary

Alor Healthcare in Saskatchewan is seeking a Senior Care Assistant on a contract basis to lead care delivery and support the wider team. You will help coordinate shifts, supervise day-to-day care, and ensure residents receive high standards of care and attention.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a care environment is essential.
• SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care minimum, ideally Level 3 or willingness to work towards further qualifications.
• Medication administration training and competency is beneficial.
• Confidence supporting colleagues and helping coordinate shifts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example.
• Compassionate, professional and reliable approach towards delivering excellent care.

Job description

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Alongside hands on care, you will take on additional responsibilities including supporting medication administration, monitoring wellbeing and ensuring care plans are followed safely and consistently.
