Job description

We are looking to fill the position of Night Security Officer at Lizard Creek Lodge Hotel. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, independent worker, physically capable of working outdoors in a mountain resort environment with a customer service orientation. You Will:

  1. Ensure public and personal safety at all times
  2. Ensure compliance with RCR safety protocols.
  3. Offer a high degree of guest service
  4. Assist with any security issues
  5. Conduct walk-through checks at the hotel as per shift schedule
  6. Conduct daily inspections of all hotel facilities
  7. Conduct risk assessments and safety checks
  8. Complete incident reports as required
  9. Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
  10. Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
  11. Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
  12. Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

You Have:

  1. Previous experience in a safety-related role (an asset)
  2. Organizational skills and can work independently
  3. A valid driver’s license
  4. The ability to maintain confidentiality required

This role is weekend shift work, Friday and Saturday evenings, 6 pm to 2 am.
