Job summary

Amica Jubilee House in Victoria, BC, is seeking a Night Building Attendant to ensure residents' safety overnight and prepare the team for the day ahead. You will respond to in-house emergencies and assist emergency personnel when needed, while keeping the building secure.

You will greet residents, visitors and the public, maintain the lobby and offices, manage garbage, recycling, vacuuming and general housekeeping, and perform duties to keep common areas, washrooms, dining rooms, elevators, and

Qualifications

• High school education – Grade 10 minimum, Grade 12 preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or seniors’ environment preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, email).
• Experience in daily cleaning and laundry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' safety overnight and monitor the building to keep it secure.
• Greet residents, visitors and the public in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform housekeeping duties: clean lobby, offices, lounges, dining room, bathrooms, elevators and windows.
