Job description

Beacon Children's Hospital has an immediate opening for an RN. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illnesses.

SIGN ON BONUS Of $13,000

The Nurse’s responsibilities include some of the following:

  1. Providing quality and excellent nursing care to assigned behavioral health children and adolescents.
  2. Regularly assess, plan, implement, and evaluate each resident’s care and produce a comprehensive nursing assessment care and current nursing care plan.
  3. Develop measurable goals on the Multi-disciplinary Treatment Plan that are mutually set with the treatment team, and resident.
  4. Complete daily progress notes for assigned residents.
  5. Provides a safe, therapeutic environment that protects resident's rights.
  6. Maintains professional relationships with patients, family members, and the staff of the Facility.

Qualified candidates should have the following:

  • Active RN license in the State of Alabama or compact license.
