Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Overnight Remodel Associate in Calgary to support the Overnight Remodel Manager in establishing standards in newly renovated departments. You will complete modulars, secure high-ticket merchandise, unload and load fixtures onto trucks, and merchandise new departments according to provided prints.

The role involves building counters, moving fixtures, stocking multiple departments, and following cold chain guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Walmart will accommodate disability-related needs as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
• Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
• Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments.
• Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
• Assists in shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
• Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
• Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
• May occasionally work in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.
