Fowey Hall Hotel, nestled on the picturesque coastline of Cornwall, is a luxury family-friendly hotel renowned for its stunning views, exceptional service, and historical charm. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Porter to join our team.

Role overview :

As a Night Porter, you will ensure the smooth operation of the hotel during night hours, maintaining high standards of service and security for our guests.

This is a full-time, 40-hour permanent position, at an hourly rate of £12.71, plus generous service charge.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the hotel from sundown to sunrise, ensuring safety, security, and guest well-being.
• Assist guests during the night, including check-ins, handling inquiries, and ensuring their comfort.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of reception and public areas.
• Work as part of a motivated team, managing the guest experience and providing concierge services.
• Understand health and safety protocols and remain calm in challenging situations.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality background preferred.
• An engaging personality with a passion for hospitality and excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to interact with all guests, including children.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills, accurate numeracy, honesty, and good judgment.
• Availability to work night shifts and weekends.
