Job summary

M30 Retail Services Inc. is seeking temporary overnight General Labourers for a store renovation project in Victoria, BC. You will assist in moving fixtures, stocking products, cleaning areas and disposing of construction materials during an overnight shift.

The role is hands-on and physically demanding, with up to 40 hours per week and a one-week assignment. Successful candidates will have basic retail exposure, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and speak fluent English.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• English fluency and clear communication are essential.
• WHMIS certification must be completed prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Move and adjust shelving/tables in a big-box store.
• Stock or package product for shipment.
• Dispose of construction material.
• Clean store sections.
• Other general labour tasks as required.
• Physical requirement: lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the shift.

$22/hour - General Labourer- Temporary project - Overnights (1 WEEK)

We are actively recruiting4 temporary labourer(s) for a store renovation project. This job is very physically demanding. You would be assisting in moving store fixtures and product, disposing of construction material, cleaning store sections, adjusting shelf heights and other general labour tasks as required.

• Rate:$22/hour + vacation pay
• Location: BC - Victoria
• Project Dates: Oct 18- 23
• Availability: Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 630am
• Hours per week: Up to 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

• Moving and adjusting shelving/tables/racking in a big-box store
• Stocking or packaging product for shipment
• Disposing of construction material
• Cleaning store sections
• Other general labourtasksas required
• Physical requirements: Lifting up to 50lbs, on feet for entire shift.

Successful Candidate Qualifications

• Retail experience is considered an asset;
• Ability to put together fixtures/displays and furniture is an asset
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, remain on feet for entire shiftand work in a physically demanding position.
• Positive attitude, reliable, good communicator and fluent in English
• PPE required: CSA Approved Safety footwear,Work Gloves, Hard Hat, Safety Vest and Protective Eyewear
• Completion of WHMIS certificate (Mustbe completed prior to starting)
