Job summary

M30 Retail Services Inc. is hiring for a Temporary Overnight Retail Installer role in Thunder Bay, ON. You will join a night crew renovating sections of a big box retailer, installing displays and fixtures, and performing general labour as needed.

We require carpentry experience, ability to read building prints or planograms, and reliable attendance for night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, with a 10:30pm–7:00am schedule. PPE and safety certifications are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Fixture installer and building experience required.

Job description

Temporary Overnight Retail Installer - $23/hour

M30 Retail Services is hiring NIGHT Fixture Installer/Display Builder(s) in ON - Thunder Bay to join a night crew, working on section renovations in a big box retailer. We are looking for 6 mature individual(s) with building experience. Must be 18 years to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Renovation and building of new fixtures/features in retail location
• Installation of displays and/or fixtures
• General labour as required

Qualifications

• Retail experience considered an asset / comfortable reading building prints or planograms
• Carpentry experience is required
• Fixture installer and building experience required
• Own tools to use during project (hammer, screwdrivers, knife, level, tape measure, cordless drill etc.)
• Handy person with common sense and excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Experience with pallet jack an asset
• Physically fit and strong. Capable of standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting and lifting continuously for the duration of the shift
• PPE required: CSA Approved Hard Hat / Casque de sécurité approuvé par la CSA, CSA Approved Safety Footwear / Chaussures de sécurité approuvées par la CSA, CSA approved protective eyewear, Safety Vest / Gilet de sécurité, Work Gloves / Gants de travail - All are to be provided by employee and worn each night.
• Safety Certification required: OWSA - Employee, WHMIS - within the last 12 months / SIMDUT - au cours des 12 derniers mois
• Able to work nights, and get to job site reliably

Rate: $23/hour + vacation pay

Location:ON - Thunder Bay

Project Dates: September 20th - October 23rd 2026

Availability: Sunday - Thursday night, ending Friday morning;10:30pm -7:00am

Hours/week: up to 40 hours per week / jusqu'à 40 heures par semaine hours a week
