PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an HSE Coordinator (Nights) to support project HSE plans, promote a strong safety culture and ensure workers return home safely each day.

The role requires progress toward an OH&S degree or diploma, an safety designation, and at least 1 year of related experience. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Working toward Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Working toward safety designation.
• 1 year of experience in a related industry.
• Ability to learn OH&S legislation and HSE processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist with implementation of project HSE plan and environmental plan.
• Identify and assist with project-specific HSE training.
• Provide HSE information and trends to project teams and create action plans.
• Develop hazard identification tools and conduct HSE inspections.
• Support emergency response plan and project security requirements.
• Ensure trade safety compliance and document inspections of equipment and tools.
