Our Night Hosts Are a Vital Part Of Our Front Of House Team, Offering Care, Reassurance, And Excellent Hospitality Through The Quieter Hours. You’ll Be Working Across Two Very Special Hotels

Scarlet – a peaceful, adults-only eco-sanctuary focused on wellbeing and natural living

Bedruthan – a vibrant, creative space for families, friends, and adventurers of all kinds

What You'll Be Doing

No two nights are quite the same but here's a taste of what your shift might involve:

Giving late arrivals a warm welcome and making early check-outs as smooth as possible

Answering phone calls quickly and helpfully, with a calm and clear approach

Delivering room service, helping run trays, and supporting the Food & Beverage team

Making sure guest bills, payments, and reception floats are accurate and up to standard

Keeping reception and public areas clean, tidy, and looking their best

Carrying out regular security patrols to ensure the site is safe and secure overnight

Staying calm and collected in any unexpected or challenging situations

Responding to guest requests with care, and passing on any feedback during shift handovers

Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring follow-ups are complete and communicated to guests

Using basic computer skills and sound numeracy to manage admin tasks reliably

You’ll need to be physically fit, as the role involves moving around the hotel grounds that are built into a steep hillside. There’s also nightly cleaning and tidying throughout the hotel to help prepare everything to be perfect for our early risers.

As part of this role, completing a first aid course is essential and mandatory, these certifications ensure you're fully equipped to keep our guests and team safe at all times.
