Job summary

The Home Depot Winnipeg North is hiring a Night Crew Order Picker to support our online orders and in-store customers. You will pick, label and stage items for delivery or pickup, and use store systems to locate products efficiently.

This full-time overnight role (10PM–6:30AM) requires a flexible schedule, solid computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You’ll work independently and as part of a team, with training provided.

Qualifications

Flexible schedule and willingness to work nights.
Proficient computer skills and basic smartphone apps.
Experience with lift trucks is an asset but not required.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Detail-oriented with ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Picking, labeling and staging orders for delivery or pick-up.
Organizing orders in holding areas until loaded for transport.
Operate lift truck equipment as trained.
Use store terminals and devices to locate products and verify orders.
Stock merchandise on shelves and maintain organized sales floor.

Job Description

As an Order Picker, you will help continue to grow our online business and customer relationships by obtaining a detailed list of product(s) necessary to fill each order, prioritizing them and picking the product ready for customer pick-up or delivery in a timely manner.

Position Responsibilities

Picking, organizing, staging and verify orders for delivery or pick-up
Accurately labelling and placing orders into specified holding areas until moved out store and loaded onto the truck
Utilize appropriate lift truck equipment to prepare customer orders (training provided)
Utilize computer terminals and/or Home Depot portable phone to identify product & location, check inventory, look-up orders and pick orders
Stocking merchandise onto shelves and organizing the sales floor
Loading orders onto delivery trucks

Experience/Knowledge Required

Able to work a flexible schedule Monday to Sunday nights (10PM – 6:30AM)
Computer skills required; able to use desktops, apps on smart phones
Previous forklift and/or lift truck experience is an asset but not required
Time management and organizational skills required
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift to fifty pounds repetitively
Detail-oriented; able to work both independently and as part of a team; self-motivated to drive completion of tasks as quickly and accurately as possible
