Are you looking to enhance your security career? Securiguard Services is seeking a security guard for our communication center in Alliston. The Communication Center monitors various site-specific systems. The candidate must be available for night shifts (2000-0800) on a rotational basis.

The Successful Candidate Must Possess the Following Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Own transportation to the site

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor security access, fire, and environmental systems at the Communication Center and respond to alarms, alerting Facilities staff as needed
• Coordinate emergency responses, monitor responses via radio, CCTV, or other means, and involve additional responders as necessary
• Document all emergency activities using check sheets and incident reports
• Maintain site emergency and non-emergency contact lists and access lists
• Perform administrative duties to ensure departmental efficiency and compliance
• Use Lenel and Avigilon security systems to investigate breaches of site rules or policies
• Perform all other security guard duties as listed
