Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Canada is seeking an AZ Transit Driver for the Stittsville Depot to transport loaded and empty trailers, including night runs on a schedule of Sun/Mon/Thurs/Fri with 5:30-7:30 PM starts. You’ll operate refrigerated equipment and deliver to volume customers with a positive image of the company.

The role requires a valid AZ license with a clean abstract and at least two years of AZ driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract.
• Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather and road conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe, accurate, timely deliveries of Gordon Food Service products.
• Transports loaded and empty trailers as assigned in night transit.
• Collaborates with supervisor/dispatcher for work assignments and on-time delivery.
• Performs daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections and manages paperwork.
• Maintains good working relationships with colleagues and participates in meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
