What will you do in this job?
- Greet guests in a welcoming and enthusiastic manner.
- Act as an ambassador of the hotel and the national park, offering guests information about hotel history, services, points of interest, and entertainment options.
- Register and assign rooms to guests, maintaining knowledge of availability for walk-in guests.
- Communicate with housekeeping, bell, and maintenance departments to update room status, arrivals, and departures.
- Assist guests with elevators and luggage as needed.
- Complete night audits and reports via Maestro PMS.
- Track, check, and record all daily transactions including cash, debit, credit, and room charges.
- Resolve and balance discrepancies found during night audits and report findings to the Front Office Manager.
- Act as additional security for the hotel and guests.
- Serve as a liaison between hotel management and guests, communicating and responding appropriately in emergencies and incident reports.
- Listen to guest concerns and resolve issues to the best of your ability.
- Assist with cleaning, sanitization, and organization of the front office/lobby to prepare for each day.
- Handle telephone and email communications, including reservations, inquiries, disputes, and handovers.
- Record potential safety and maintenance issues and communicate details to the appropriate departments.
- Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed.
- Perform a variety of job duties as an utility player.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

- Previous front desk experience is strongly preferred.
