Pursuit’s Mount Royal Hotel in Banff is seeking a Night Auditor for the overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will manage nightly financial processes, balance transactions, post room charges, and prepare reports while delivering attentive guest service.

The role emphasizes safety, security, and operational excellence throughout the night, with duties at the Front Desk and coordination with Front Office. Training on Maestro PMS is provided as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Desk or Night Auditor experience strongly preferred.
• Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key.
• Ability to work solo or as part of a larger team.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone calls
• Process overnight arrivals and departures
• Register arriving guests and assign rooms
• Process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payment
• Take, cancel, and change room reservations
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related form
• Completes night audit and reports via Maestro PMS
• Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and local points of interest
• Arrange services required for guests with special needs
• Provide information regarding room status and special guests to other departments
• Learn the Emergency Response Manual thoroughly
• Learn the Night Audit procedures
• Perform related Front Desk duties as directed by Supervisor

In addition to audit responsibilities, the Night Auditor delivers attentive guest service and addressing guest needs promptly.
