Job summary

Pursuit in Banff, AB is hiring an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for the Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen. This full-time, year-round role oversees daily restaurant operations and special events, supervises staff, and ensures food safety and guest satisfaction.

We offer staff accommodation if needed, flexible shifts, and opportunities to lead weddings and conferences. Prior hotel/restaurant supervisory experience and MICROS POS knowledge are assets.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work various shifts (early mornings, late evenings, weekends, split shifts).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage numerous tasks.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline is a strong asset.
• 2 years' in a hotel or restaurant industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
• Working knowledge of MICROS or similar POS system is an asset.
