About the Role

We are hiring a Night Auditor at the Element by Westin Calgary Downtown, an all-suite hotel focused on guest wellness and sustainability. Our hotel features extensive amenities including a fitness center, healthy breakfast options, Bikes to Borrow, pet-friendly suites, and rooftop dining at Bow & Bend.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality service, greet guests, and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
2. Reconcile daily front office transactions and run night audit procedures.
3. Accept payments, maintain accurate financial reports, and handle miscellaneous charges.
4. Manage reservations and ensure all emergency procedures are followed overnight.
5. Perform nightly financial tasks, including balancing accounts and preparing reports.
6. Ensure all credit card transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
7. Maintain a clean and organized lobby and desk area.
8. Handle wake-up calls and communicate important information to staff and management.
9. Practice safety standards at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum one year of experience as a Night Auditor or similar role in a hotel.
• Hospitality or Tourism degree preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and safety-conscious.
• Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Guest-focused with strong communication skills and ability to work overnight shifts.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
