Banff Caribou Properties Ltd. in Banff seeks a reliable Night Auditor to join the Front Office team.

You’ll be the overnight point of contact for guests, balancing excellent service with accurate records and nightly audits. Working independently, you’ll resolve discrepancies, keep overnight operations running and prep for the Front Desk team the next day, ensuring guest safety and a smooth operation for the morning shift.

Responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals and assist with check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest requests
• Respond to guest needs and calls in a friendly and professional manner
• Complete nightly audits, balance transactions and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Review room charges, payments, deposits and refunds to ensure they have been processed accurately
• Maintain accurate daily records and prepare reports for the Accounts team
• Identify errors or inconsistencies and follow them through to resolution
• Support guest safety and hotel security throughout the night
• Respond calmly to unexpected situations, using good judgement to resolve issues or elevate when needed
• Complete system updates and basic administrative tasks

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. You’ll be the main point of contact for our guests overnight, balancing great guest service with accurate records, transactions and nightly audits.

Working independently, you’ll spot and resolve discrepancies, keep overnight operations running smoothly and ensure everything is ready for the Front Desk team the next day. This is a great fit for someone with a keen eye for detail, good judgement and a natural ability to solve problems and think on their feet, while keeping the guest experience at the forefront.

What you’ll do:

• Good analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to spot discrepancies and find solutions
• Comfortable working independently overnight and making sound decisions when needed
• Calm and resourceful if unexpected situations arise, with good judgement around when to take action and when to elevate
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
• Good data entry and computer skills
• Previous front desk, night audit, accounting or customer service experience is an asset, but not essential
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
