Reporting and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Night Attendant is responsible for:

  • Responding to incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, and answering inquiries professionally;
  • Cleaning and sanitizing common areas;
  • Managing front desk operations courteously and efficiently;
  • Handling administrative duties, including mail, packages, and meeting room scheduling;
  • Providing evening security and emergency response for residents;
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized reception area;
  • Establishing harmonious relationships with residents, families, and staff;
  • Reporting resident concerns and maintenance issues promptly;
  • Assisting with small projects and administrative support tasks;
  • Cleaning, laundry, operating floor care equipment, and waste management;
  • Adhering to residence policies, safety rules, and participating in training and meetings;
  • Upholding the organization’s values, ethics, and integrity.
Minimum Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in English, demonstrating empathy and patience;
  • Experience with institutional cleaning techniques and possibly reception work;
  • Professional telephone manner;
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines;
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email preferred;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Current CPR, First Aid, Responsible Service Certification, and VPS screening;
