Job description

NI aims to have the most well-equipped sales teams in the industry. Enabling our Sales teams is therefore of utmost importance. The NI Sales Capability & Development team plays a key role in supporting the NI Sales teams through various initiatives and programs focused on sales-related products, services, solutions, and skills.

As the Leader of the NI Sales Capability & Development team, you will drive initiatives to ensure NI delivers top-tier knowledge programs to our markets and business center teams. You will collaborate with sales market leaders and business center primes to identify their knowledge needs and ensure that the learning and sales certification programs meet these requirements. The NI Certify4Success Sales certification program provides a framework to ensure that NI's global sales team possesses the necessary and validated skills, including portfolio knowledge (products, solutions, services) and selling skills. The team leader will oversee the program's framework, its evolution, and the certification/validation process for the global sales community, along with managing training programs.

You will work with several NI teams and leaders, including PLMs, Services PLMs, product marketing, and others, to ensure that portfolio knowledge training supports the sales community. Additionally, you will collaborate with Sales Enablement and People teams to deliver effective selling skills programs. Developing relationships with external content creators and trainers will also be essential to provide well-rounded sales training.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years in a sales capacity or working closely with sales teams and leaders in the communications industry
  • 7-10+ years experience in developing learning and certification programs
  • A strategic mindset with a strong results orientation
  • Aptitude to motivate and drive results in a global sales organization
  • Outstanding leadership skills, including leading through change and ambiguity
  • Innovative and creative thinking
