Job Description

NI is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity professional for the role of Customer Security Manager. This individual will serve as the primary contact for customer security issues and will need to understand regional security and privacy requirements affecting NI products and services.

This role supports NI's business by aligning customer security needs and regional security regulatory requirements with Nokia’s and NI’s security practices, proactively driving internal changes to meet future security demands. The candidate will collaborate with security professionals across Nokia and customer-facing teams to address security needs effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on regional security & privacy regulations, including CSL, EU-CRA, RED, NIS2, UK-TSR, ITSAR, and emerging regulations.
  • Coordinate with NI Market Organizations and Business Centers to understand customer demands and support assessment of new regulations.
  • Collaborate with NI Privacy Lead and support security clause negotiations in contracts and statements of work.
  • Perform gap and impact analysis for compliance with security and privacy requirements.
  • Coordinate reporting of vulnerabilities related to NI products.
  • Support audits and assessments requested by customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years in product security compliance roles.
  • Technical skills in secure product development and security engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and external customers.
  • Coaching and mentoring abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Nokia DFSEC tools and vulnerability management systems.
  • Security certifications like CISSP, CASE, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native security and FOSS lifecycle management.
