Job description

We seek to fill the position of nGAP Lecturer in Setswana Teaching in the Faculty of Education. The incumbent will be responsible for teaching, research, community engagement, and supporting the department/school in achieving its academic objectives.

  1. Relevant Masters degree with a minimum average of 70% pass mark.
  2. At least two years of teaching or industry experience.
  3. At least one peer-reviewed article in a scholarly journal (not mandatory).
  4. Evidence of active participation in professional industry and/or community activities.
  5. Evidence of competence in the administration of a course/subject at the departmental level.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teaching, research, community engagement, and supporting the department/school's academic initiatives.
  • Additional responsibilities may include curriculum development, student academic development, administration, and quality assurance.
