Job summary

SLB is seeking a Mechanical Technician Trainee in Newfoundland, Canada, to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and to improve maintenance efficiency across the Product Line’s assets. The role emphasizes reliability-centered maintenance, accurate recording in the TLM system, and adherence to product line standards.

The candidate will participate in continuous improvement activities to reduce downtime and improve asset utilization, while working within a team to develop improved maintenance

Qualifications

• Associates degree in STEM or oil and Gas.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the maintenance program and reliable maintenance strategy.
• Record materials, labor costs and equipment maintenance history in TLM systems.
• Comply with TLM Product Line standards and participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery.
