Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Coquitlam
Salary: $75K–$95K + 10% Bonus + RRSP Match (5%)

We’re working with a growing company in the industrial services space that is hiring aSenior Accountantto join their team inCoquitlam. Thisfull-time, in-officerole is ideal for someone with strong full-cycle accounting and job costing experience, looking to step into a key role within a collaborative and hands-on environment.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Controller, this position plays a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely financial information to management and supporting operations with critical costing and budget insights. The role covers two active subsidiaries and supports a growing finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-cycle accounting, including month- and year-end close
  • Prepare and analyze job costing reports (WIP, inventory, completed jobs)
  • Reconcile budgets vs. actuals and investigate variances
  • General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
  • Fixed asset tracking (additions, disposals, depreciation)
  • Financial statement preparation and management reporting
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and audit support
  • Liaison with head office finance team on consolidations
  • Provide financial insights to operational managers
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong job costing and full-cycle accounting background
  • Experience withMicrosoft Dynamics – Business Centralis an asset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • $75,000 to $95,000base salary
