Job description

We are seeking a New Product Development Industrial Engineer to report to the NPD Project Leader. The role involves defining assembly requirements during early product development stages. You will be part of a dynamic team influencing BRP product development and collaborating with a multicultural group of passionate professionals.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  1. Act as the owner of the assembly sequence during early product development.
  2. Define preliminary assembly sequences in collaboration with global industrial engineering teams.
  3. Influence product design through DFX and PFMEA sessions to facilitate new product introductions.
  4. Adjust assembly sequences and manufacturing layouts in line with product design changes.
  5. Lead validation of assembly sequences and ensure team readiness for validation activities.
  6. Conduct virtual validation sessions with multidisciplinary teams.
  7. Support assembly of physical prototypes (P1 and P3).
  8. Contribute to NPD governance alongside the Project Leader.
  9. Translate data into decision-driving insights, such as cycle times and costs.
  10. Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks proactively.

YOU’LL THRIVE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's or college degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
  • Fluent in French and English; knowledge of Vietnamese and Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient with Google Suite; knowledge of Catia, 3DVIA, and SAP is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate across cultures and teams.
  • Creativity, influence, and a proactive mindset.
  • A sense of urgency and ownership.
