Finance Data Entry – Temporary (Part-Time)
Location:Burnaby, BC
Work Model:Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 1 day remote
Schedule:3 days/week
Contract Duration:6 months

About the Opportunity

Join a well-established Canadian technology company as a Finance Data Entry – Temp and provide essential support to a dynamic finance team. This 6-month temporary role offers a flexible hybrid schedule and is ideal for professionals re-entering the workforce, balancing family commitments, or seeking foundational finance experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input financial data including invoices, expenses, and orders into the accounting system with accuracy
  • Verify and cross-reference entries to ensure completeness
  • Send invoices and order confirmations to clients and partners
  • Assist with document filing and retrieval
  • Support GL account reconciliations
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Education or background in finance/accounting preferred
  • Familiarity with Sage 300 is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Commitment to the full duration and part-time schedule of the assignment
