As a Financial Planner, you will develop and deepen client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. Your clients are your greatest asset, and your priority is to provide investment and financial planning advice to meet their unique goals.

Following a comprehensive financial planning framework, your focus will be on investment sales, new client acquisition, and establishing business development opportunities within your assigned market area.

Promote the development and sustainable growth of proprietary investment business by:

  • Conducting in-depth reviews for clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support their financial goals.
  • Uncovering client needs and delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
  • Being self-motivated and goal-oriented when identifying client needs to craft personalized financial strategies.
  • Engaging clients, educating them, offering insights, and delivering expert advice.
  • Collaborating effectively with peers, clients, and partners.
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships to ensure a great client experience.

Qualifications for success:

  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales preferred.
  • Progress towards or completed CIFP designation.
  • Accredited mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  • Ability to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur.
  • Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, regulatory environment, and competitive offerings.
