Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation invites recent graduates to join our New Grad Tech Development Program, a 24-month rotation within our Cybersecurity stream alongside 3,000 Digital, Data and Tech experts. You’ll be immersed in hands-on projects using modern tools and mentorship to shape the future of insurance.

You’ll design, develop, and deploy software, learn cloud infrastructure, and collaborate across teams while receiving professional development courses and feedback throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate in CS/SE/IT with degree by May 2027 or within the past year.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for technology.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
• Participate in development and deployment of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Monitor and optimize application performance in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure software solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in software and cloud environments.

What you’ll do here:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development

• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software development and cloud computing

What you bring to the table:

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, graduating by May 2027 or within the past year
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology
• Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility
• Knowledge of Java and Spring Framework for backend development and understanding of Angular and TypeScript for frontend development
• Understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of Agile development methods
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
