How You Will Contribute :

Ciena’s evolving product portfolio addresses a rapidly expanding market of disaggregated solutions, from deep inside data centers to metro/regional applications and long-reach networks. As a Systems Engineer focused on coherent pluggable transponders, you will support the development cycle, ensuring transponders operate seamlessly in third-party platforms through integration testing and customer support. You will collaborate with R&D, Product Line Management, Sales, and Services to refine solutions and incorporate customer feedback.

The role comprises :

• Performing integration test plans for adopting Ciena pluggable transmitters into third-party platforms
• Conducting lab tests to verify transponder performance across various metrics
• Maximizing capacity and performance through lab and field activities, resolving issues, and demonstrating features

• Knowledge of routing/switching equipment
• Multilingual abilities are a plus
