The Nuclear Business Unit at AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Junior Commercial Advisor who thrives on teamwork with a strong desire to deliver for both internal and external clients.

In an evolving energy market where the business is growing, we are seeking a Commercial Advisor passionate about business, comfortable leading and supporting the business in achieving its goals, while managing and balancing business risk. The role requires access to confidential information to support medium- and long-term financial analysis and planning.

Location – Mississauga, ON

Your role within the team:

• Collaborate with proposal teams on strategy development and review of proposals, commercial contracts, subcontracts, and other agreements.
• Identify, analyze, and present potential commercial risks and liabilities related to proposals, projects, and supplier agreements.
• Interface with internal stakeholders including technical, risk assessment, legal, cost estimating, insurance, bond, taxation, treasury, and finance teams.
• Provide commercial support in contract administration and in preparing narratives, entitlement documentation, and resolving claims.
• Work closely with procurement to ensure flow-down of prime contract terms to related contracts.
• Support medium- and long-term financial analysis and planning using confidential information.
• Assist project teams in understanding and interpreting contract language.
• Develop an understanding of client organizations, objectives, personnel, and environments.
• Attend steering committee meetings between Candu Energy and partners, and prepare minutes recording decisions and actions.

Qualifications:
