Job summary

Fluor is a leading engineering and construction company seeking graduates in Electrical Engineering to join our Control Systems team in Canada. The role focuses on P&ID development, instrumentation sizing, and engineering work packages for control systems and instrumentation.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to progress projects. Ideal candidates are graduating in 2026/2027 with strong communication skills and a drive to develop into engineering leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering expected in 2026/2027.
• Efficient written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) development.
• Field instrumentation sizing and selection.
• Develop Instrument Index, I/O List and RATS List.
• Handling RFQ or MR packages.
• Involved with Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and vendor data collection.
• Engineering work packages for Control Systems and Instrumentation.
• Sourcing Instruments and Distributed Control Systems components.
• Attending Factory Acceptance Test for control systems equipment and field opportunities.
