The ideal candidate will be hands-on, solutions orientated and ensure strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, donor stewardship and management experience. The successful candidate should be a CPA designation with 5 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Strong knowledge of GAAP, CRA charity requirements, and nonprofit audit processes. High level of proficiency financial software andCRM systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge NXT).
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making an immediate impact and has strong experience with not-for-profit finance and day-to-day operations.
