Wajax is seeking a New Equipment Prep Technician to assemble and pre-build heavy equipment, focusing on branding and pre-delivery tasks. You will work in the shop preparing units for delivery, including installation of accessories and testing systems to ensure presentation-ready machines.
The role emphasizes consistent, detailed execution, safety, and adherence to build specs while coordinating with the Service Manager for upcoming builds and maintaining accurate records.
The New Equipment Prep Technician is responsible for the assembly, preparation, and final setup of new heavy equipment prior to delivery to customers. This is not a traditional Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) role - it is focused on new machine builds, accessory installation, pre-delivery preparation, and branding work within the shop.
