Wajax Corporation in Canada is seeking a New Equipment Prep Technician to assemble, prepare, and pre-deliver new heavy equipment, focusing on Hitachi excavators and wheel loaders, in a busy shop environment.
The role emphasizes precise pre-build work, branding, and presentation, including install of heaters, hydraulic kits, and PDIs, with attention to build specs, safety, and quality before customer delivery.
The New Equipment Prep Technician is responsible for the assembly, preparation, and final setup of new heavy equipment prior to delivery to customers.
This is not a traditional Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) role — it is focused on new machine builds, accessory installation, pre‑delivery preparation, and branding work within the shop.
The technician ensures every new machine is professionally assembled according to build specifications and dealership standards before it goes to retail customers.
