About the Job:

The Registered Nurse:
• Provides nursing care to patients in a home or community setting
• Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence
• Assesses, plans, coordinates, organizes, implements, evaluates and transitions nursing and other care services for the client
• Develops, implements and adapts a care plan, delivers direct care, assesses service eligibility and provides care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting

Our typical nursing schedules are based on 12 hour shifts and include Days and Nights with rotating days off.

Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage for this position will be $41.42 to $55.91. These are unionized nursing positions with the BCNU.

Qualfications
