Job summary

Amhil North America in Canada is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth within the Canadian foodservice packaging market, including QSRs, convenience stores, and processor-packers. This is a proactive, relationship-driven role focused on winning new business and expanding Amhil's presence in Mississauga and beyond.

• Post-secondary education (Business degree preferred).
• 5+ years of proven new business development experience in the foodservice or food packaging industry.

• Results-driven with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinking with analytical/problem-solving abilities.

Overview

This role will play a key role in driving sales growth within the assigned region. This position requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in developing new business, particularly in the food service, supermarket, and food processor packaging industry.

This is a new customer acquisition role that requires a proactive sales professional who can identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities within National QSRs, Convenience Stores (C-Stores), and Packer/Processor organizations.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, cold calling, industry research, relationship building, CRM management, solution-based selling, and sales performance analysis.
• Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity, and share relevant insights with customers and internal teams to support business growth and strengthen customer relationships.
• Develop new business at new customers within the Canadian Foodservice packaging market.
• Identify and engage prospective Foodservice customers through cold outreach, lead generation, market research, and relationship building to create new business opportunities.
• Participate in the development of strategic Sales and Marketing Plans including Pricing Strategies and Trade Spend and make recommendations based on market insights and knowledge.
• Effectively manage across the sales cycle, leveraging a robust pipeline and sales tools.
• Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business.
• Follow and understand industry trends and developments as well as competitive activity.
• Continuously develop and refine sales expertise, product knowledge, and industry awareness to maximize performance and customer value.
