Job summary

Alberta Health Services at Foothills Medical Centre seeks a Manager to oversee Neurosciences Units 100 and 111, the Transcranial Doppler Service, and the Calgary Stroke Program. You will ensure safe, patient-centered care, align with strategic goals, and drive improvements in outcomes and experience.

You will lead teams, manage budgets, and partner with physicians and leaders to sustain high-quality care and financial sustainability.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Healthcare Profession required.
• Active or eligible for registration with the applicable college or licensing body.
• Minimum three years management experience in a complex multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Self-directed, motivated, flexible and solution focused; able to inspire and mentor others.
• Strong financial analysis, reporting and management skills.
• Experience with recruitment and retention, performance management and evaluation.
• Proven ability to foster partnerships across teams and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for Neurosciences Units 100 and 111, Transcranial Doppler Service, and Calgary Stroke Program.
• Lead operational and strategic planning, budget and resource management.
