Job description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in neuroscience in Western Canada to serve as a key scientific resource and establish strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and researchers. The MSL will be responsible for providing scientific and clinical expertise in neuroscience, sharing data and research findings, and supporting the development of clinical and regulatory strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of neuroscience and a proven ability to engage with the medical community to ensure the accurate dissemination of scientific information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage regularly with key experts across Canada to foster scientific dialogue, support data dissemination, and capture relevant field insights.
  • Present and discuss up-to-date neuroscience clinical evidence in a clear, accurate, and tailored manner to healthcare professionals, internal teams, and decision-makers.
  • Provide scientific support for clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, and other neuroscience research programs.
  • Offer educational training on neuroscience product data and therapeutic areas to healthcare professionals and internal teams.
  • Stay current on scientific developments, emerging therapies, and competitive intelligence in the neuroscience space to support internal planning and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) in Neuroscience or related field preferred.
  • Strong background in neuroscience and / or relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively across departments
  • Solid foundation in scientific and medical knowledge, with strong presentation and teaching skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Proven experience in scientific communication and relationship-building with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Proven track record of handling multiple projects efficiently within set deadlines and budgets
