Qualifications

• Advanced degree in neuroscience or related field.
• Minimum 2 years grant/program management experience; 4 years if no advanced degree.
• Knowledge of the neuroscience landscape and patient care for neurodegenerative diseases.
• Experience in a family foundation or philanthropic organization is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative neuroscience funding programs.
• Coordinate calls for proposals, including timelines, guidelines, and review processes.
• Review and adjudicate applications with external subject matter experts and advisors.
• Manage a portfolio of grants, track milestones, finance stewardship, and outcomes.
• Draft and manage grant agreements; liaise with legal; track budgets and payments.
• Build relationships with grantees, advisors, collaborators, and internal teams.
• Plan and deliver workshops, roundtables, and webinars; represent the Foundation at events.
• Support communications materials for board meetings and external communications.
• Identify and implement improvements to grants management systems and processes.
