This position is in the Department of Neuroscience, starting July 1, 2025, with a salary range of $79,132 to $94,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field, with expertise in research on cerebral function across the lifespan, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging methods such as MRI or in vivo optical imaging. They should be capable of instructing undergraduate and graduate courses, developing a research program, and securing external funding.
Our department focuses on fundamental neurobiology, and the candidate will develop research on mechanisms underlying normal or disordered processes like memory, perception, movement, social behavior, emotion, or neurodevelopment in humans and / or animals. The university offers excellent infrastructure, including NMRs, MRI, microscopes, and behavioral testing suites.
