Job summary

The University of Calgary is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support neuromuscular trials at the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. The role involves patient management, protocol administration, and collaboration with the Executive Director and PI to ensure compliant, high-quality trial conduct.

Travel between Foothills Campus and South Health Campus may be required; the position is full-time fixed-term for ~6 months with potential extension based on grant funding.

Qualifications

• Minimum MSc level education in an applicable field (science or related).
• SOCRA certification or active membership preferred.
• 3+ years clinical trial experience preferred.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage neuromuscular clinical research trial patients and care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with ICH, Helsinki, CHREB and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and families on trial processes and adherence.
• Coordinate protocol-related assessments, data collection and follow-ups.
• Handle budgeting, invoicing and sponsor communications where applicable.
