Job description

Island Health’s Division of Neurology is interested in recruiting a Neurologist with excellent General Neurology skills. An expectation of the successful candidate will include a hospital-based inpatient general neurology practice, opportunity to work outpatient clinics within the hospital and include an opportunity to build a community practice.

Education, Training and Experience

  • FRCPC – Neurology
  • Full licensure with the CPSBC

Benefits

  • May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary agreement. Benefits are pro-rated based on FTE.
  • Recruitment Incentive - up to $10,000
  • Relocation Costs Reimbursement – up to a maximum of $15,000
  • Fee Premium: 6.93%
  • Retention Flat Fee: $10,739.52
  • Rural CME starting at $3,000/annum in years 3 and 4 in the community to a maximum of $6,000/annum after 4 years.
