Job Overview:

RWJ Barnabas Health seeks a qualified full-time Neuro Technician III in New Brunswick, NJ. The primary role of the Neuropsychometric Assistant is to administer psychological and neuropsychological tests to specific populations following established procedures under the supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field and at least one year of experience in administering psychological/neuropsychological tests.
• Analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of psychological and behavioral test scoring protocols, procedures, and standards. Equivalent education or experience may substitute for the degree.

Preferred:

• Master's Degree in Psychology or related field with emphasis on tests and measurement.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift, 40 hours/week
• Full-Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and administer psychological and neuropsychological tests in various formats.
• Explain procedures to subjects and facilitate compliance.
• Time tests, record results, and notify neuropsychologist of extraordinary results.
• Provide observational summaries including behavioral information and effort levels.
• Assist in research data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Support neuropsychologists in scoring tests and completing behavior rating scales.
• Coordinate testing appointments and maintain records of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of test results and materials.
• Act as a role model for integrity, customer service, and quality.
• Adhere to Rutgers compliance standards and stay updated on relevant policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
